Fetish priest has been banned for practicing juju in Awutu  giving two weeks ultimatum...

The 60 year old man with name, Mr.Andrews Asigbe  who is a fetish priest at Awutu Adwakuw in the Awutu Senya West has been banned by  chief of Adwakuw  in the central region.

Speaking in press conference with the chief of  Awutu Adawukwa Nai Adawu iv hinted that, he don't like juju people on his land and anyone that will be cought will be sanction by the sit law . He therefore warned Residents on his land to remove all smaller gods from the community within two weeks ultimatum especially Mr.Andrews Asigbe who has been sanction with ( one Sheep, a set of drinks and amount of Gh1,500.

He gave the  60 year  juju man two weeks ultimatum to pack all his gods from the Awutu Adwakuw land immediately before different actions maybe taken by him and elders. According to the Odikro of Awutu Adawukwa who doubles as Bambofohene of Awutu Traditional council, he has noticed with shock that, the rampant armed robbery activities in the country  are being motivated by fetish priests  simply because, these criminals go to them for spiritual protection (juju).

He emphatically Stated that, after notorious criminal go to fetish priests for protection (juju), they then battle with the police in gun battle a situation he described as worrying. In addition,  most children who were being reported missing are as a result of fetish priests using their blood for sacrifice at such, the police must investigate some of the fetish priests in the country.

At the press conference during the time he  sanction the fetish priest ( juju man ,Mr.Andrews Asigbe  )the chief of Adawukwa  stated that he has dedicated the community onto the hands of God the Creator of the universe henceforth, he need no smaller gods in the area. 

Although, there's a freedom of worship in the country but failure to comply with the two weeks ultimatum will result in banishing recalcitrant Residents as well as fetish priests. He mentioned this to the media during press conference after he find one of the Fetish priest who practice juju in the Awutu Adawukwa land which is Abormonation to the chief of the land.

The fetish priest who's name is Mr.Andrews Asigbe  60 year man also signed a bond  for not practicing juju in the Adawukwa land Again. The leader of the Ewes in the Adawukwa community,  Mr.Sampson K. Dekpor pleaded on behalf of the Fetish priest Mr.Andrews Asigbe and   promise to advise fellow Ewes to put stop on the juju activities in the Awutu Adawukwa land to avoid conflict .

He also called on all the juju men on the Awutu Adawukwa to pack their juju immediately from the community.
